September 7, 2026 marked the long-awaited first academic day for first-year students at the Tashkent branch of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology.

The beginning of the new academic year became a truly special and exciting event for the freshmen. On this day, they crossed the threshold of a higher educational institution as full-fledged students for the first time, opening a completely new, bright page in their lives — the beginning of a great student journey.

In honor of this significant event, a large-scale solemn ceremony was held at the MUCTR Tashkent branch. It was symbolically dedicated not only to the start of the new academic year but also to the most important national holiday — the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The solemn ceremony was attended by the branch leadership, respected faculty members, staff, and, of course, the students themselves.
