March 16, 2026 Tashkent branch of the Russian Chemical-Technological University named after D.I. Mendeleev was visited by the official delegation of the Head University, headed by rector Sergei Nikolaevich Filatov.

The delegation included:

During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the branch, modern training and laboratory facilities, educational programs, as well as the results of work on the creation of Advanced Engineering Schools aimed at training highly qualified engineering personnel for priority sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of training specialists for the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, the introduction of modern educational technologies, the development of digital engineering, as well as the expansion of research cooperation.

As part of the visit program, a meeting was held with the management of Uzkimyosanoat JSC, during which issues of further development of cooperation between education, science and industry, organization of practical training for students and implementation of joint innovative projects were discussed.

📅 On March 17, meetings of the delegation are planned with the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as with the heads of research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at developing joint scientific research and expanding academic interaction.

📅 On March 18, the delegation will hold meetings with the leadership of specialized higher educational organizations, take part in scientific and educational events with students, and also get acquainted with the activities of the Chirchik chemical-industrial technology park.

📅 On March 19, working meetings are planned at the Tashkent branch of the Russian Chemical Technology University named after. DI. Mendeleev on issues of further development of the branch, implementation of joint educational programs, scientific research and strengthening of international academic cooperation.

It should be noted that the Tashkent branch of the Russian Chemical Technical University named after. DI. Mendeleev today is one of the key platforms for training engineers for the chemical industry of Uzbekistan and plays an important role in the development of international educational cooperation.

The delegation’s visit is aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership, developing scientific potential and training specialists capable of ensuring the technological development of the region’s chemical industry.
