TASHKENT, October 29, 2026 — An official meeting was held between the management of the MUCTR Branch in Tashkent and representatives of Asian Chemical Group LLC (which includes the Dehkanabad Potash Plant and the Kyzylkum Phosphorite Complex). The event took place as part of the solemn ceremony of signing the bilateral Cooperation Agreement.

Key figures from both organizations attended the meeting, which laid the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership. On behalf of the RCTU Branch, Executive Director B.E. Nurmatov, Dean A.U. Abdurakhimova, Secretary of the Scientific and Technical Council and Head of the QCA Department O.A. Kamiljanov, and Head of the International Cooperation Department A.N. Shernaev took part in the negotiations. The Asian Chemical Group LLC delegation was represented by General Director Ilgiz Azatovich Valiulin and Deputy General Director for HR Sergey Vyacheslavovich Nesterov.

The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of joint steps to integrate science, education, and real production. The signed Agreement is aimed at joining efforts to improve the quality of professional training of young specialists and the implementation of large-scale joint projects.

According to the document, the priority areas of cooperation will be:

  • Integration of theory and practice: organizing industrial, pre-graduation, and introductory internships for students at ACG industrial facilities with further assistance in the employment of graduates.

  • Corporate training: training and professional development of current ACG employees on the basis of the University under specialized (customized) programs that take into account the current production needs of the company.

  • Modernization of the educational process: joint development of new curricula and modules, as well as the active involvement of specialized ACG experts in the student training process.

  • Research and development: implementation of joint research, experimental design, and technological works (R&D) aimed at solving relevant industry tasks using the University's research laboratories and the enterprise's production capacities.

It is expected that this partnership will not only improve the quality of engineering personnel training but also give a new impetus to the development of the chemical industry in the region.
