On February 25, 2026, the annual scientific and practical conference “Young Philology of Uzbekistan - 2026” and an author’s competition for creative youth “Anor” were held at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Faculty of Journalism and Uzbek Philology, Department of Russian Literary Studies).

 The program included:
  — grand opening and welcoming speeches by the university leadership;
  — plenary session;
  — information project dedicated to the anniversary of M.A. Bulgakov;
  — project of the Department of Russian Literary Studies based on the book by D.S. Likhachev “Letters about the good and the beautiful”;
  — work in sections;
  — awarding the winners of the creative competition;
  — summing up the results and presenting certificates to participants.

 Students of our Branch adequately represented the university at the republican level:

 Azizova Sogdiana - awarded a diploma of honor
