On October 7, students from the Branch of the D.I. Mendeleev RCTU (Russian Chemical Technical University) visited penal institution No. 50 in the Tashkent region as part of an off-site preventive event.

A screening of a thematic film about the consequences of drug addiction and the legal liability for illegal drug trafficking was organized for the students. Afterwards, a meeting was held with the institution's staff, who discussed the legal and social consequences of drug use and distribution, sharing real-life examples from their practice.

The event was held as part of the implementation of the provisions of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, No. UP-207, which is aimed at preventing drug addiction and protecting public health.
