Preventive visit: choice, responsibility, future.

 In the Tashkent branch of the Russian Chemical Technical University named after. DI. Mendeleev works on an ongoing basis aimed at developing in students a conscious attitude towards the law, a healthy lifestyle and personal responsibility.

 As part of preventive measures, on December 16, 2025, with the participation of the branch management, employees and students, a visit was organized to correctional institution No. 50 of the Pskent district of the Tashkent region.

The purpose of the visit was to improve the legal culture of young people, strengthen respect for the law and understanding the consequences of decisions made.

During the visit, students got acquainted with the activities of the institution, living and working conditions of convicts, as well as measures aimed at their social adaptation. Representatives of the institution explained the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the prohibition of the use, storage and distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances, as well as liability for these offenses.

During the meeting, thematic video materials were demonstrated and an open dialogue was held with students. Using real life examples, it was shown how a rash step can affect a person’s future fate.

 The visit was an important reminder of the values ​​of freedom, health and informed choice that shape the successful future of young people.
