A meeting was held on the issue of concluding a memorandum of cooperation in the field of personnel training between the branch of the Russian Chemical-Technological University named after D.I. Mendeleev in the city of Tashkent and the pharmaceutical company ZUMA-PHARMA.

ZUMA-PHARMA is a modern pharmaceutical company located in the Parkent district of the Tashkent region of the Republic of Uzbekistan and operating in the territory of the Parkent-Farm free economic zone. The company specializes in the production of medicines and is the country's first and only manufacturer of pre-filled and ready-to-use syringes, cartridge pens, lyophilized powders, as well as injection solutions in vials. The company is part of the UZGERMED PHARM GROUP.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing mutually beneficial cooperation, training highly qualified specialists, as well as expanding the participation of graduates in real production processes.

The main goal of cooperation is to provide the enterprise with young specialists with modern knowledge and practical skills, as well as to create conditions for students to undergo internships in high-tech production, become familiar with advanced technologies and develop professional competencies.

The parties also discussed the prospects for implementing joint practical projects, advanced training programs and scientific and practical initiatives.

Confidence was expressed that this cooperation will help strengthen the integration of education, science and industry, train highly qualified personnel of the new generation and will make a significant contribution to the development of the pharmaceutical and chemical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
