High-Molecular Compounds

Program Description

High-molecular compounds (polymers) are the driving force behind modern manufacturing and advanced technologies. This degree program prepares leading specialists in the production and processing of plastics, elastomers (rubbers), paints, synthetic fibers, and advanced composites. Students are trained not only to manage traditional manufacturing processes but also to engineer next-generation "smart" and biodegradable polymers used in biomedicine, aerospace, electronics, and eco-friendly sustainable packaging.

💡 Core Curriculum

  • Polymer Chemistry and Physics: In-depth study of macromolecular structures, thermodynamics, and physical properties.
  • Innovative Materials Technology: Synthesis of special filaments for 3D printing, carbon composites, and environmentally safe polymers.
  • Processing Technologies: Mastering industrial methods such as extrusion, injection molding, pressing, and casting.
  • Equipment and Plant Design: Designing chemical reactors, modeling production lines, and implementing industrial automation.

🛠 Practical Skills Acquired

During the program, students gain hands-on experience operating modern analytical instruments (chromatographs, spectrometers, rheometers) in compliance with international ISO standards. Through internships at leading industrial enterprises, they also master computer simulation of chemical processes (Digital Twins) and lean manufacturing principles.

🚀 Career Prospects

Polymer specialists possess highly sought-after skills in the global job market. Graduates can pursue successful careers in various roles:

  • Process Engineer at major petrochemical and chemical manufacturing plants;
  • R&D Scientist in corporate research and development centers and scientific institutes;
  • Laboratory Manager or Quality Assurance (QA) Expert in industries producing construction materials, automotive parts, medical devices, and packaging.
