On October 6, 2026, the higher education exhibition "Begin Edu Fair Tashkent" was held at the "AZIMUT Grand Hotel Tashkent" in Tashkent, aimed at developing cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and foreign countries, expanding academic exchange, and implementing international educational and scientific projects.
The event was organized in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Goethe-Institut in Tashkent, "E-Quadrat Science & Education GmbH", and the "Begin Group" company.
On behalf of the Tashkent Branch of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, the Head of the International Cooperation Department A.N. Shernaev and the Methodologist of the Department S.G. Rakhimov took part in the exhibition.
Within the framework of the event, meetings and negotiations were organized with representatives of higher education institutions from Germany, Latvia, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. During the negotiations, issues of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of education and science, developing student and faculty exchange, and implementing joint educational programs and international scientific research projects were discussed.
In addition, an exchange of views took place on the development of academic mobility, the organization of internships and exchange programs for students, the implementation of joint scientific projects, the attraction of international grants, and the joint implementation of educational programs with foreign higher education institutions.
During the meetings, representatives of the branch presented information about educational fields, scientific potential, existing experience in international cooperation, and the work being done to attract foreign students to the educational process.
Following the meetings and negotiations, promising areas of cooperation with foreign higher education institutions were identified, and agreements were reached on the further development of mutual contacts.
Participation in this event contributed to expanding the geography of international cooperation of the Tashkent Branch of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, attracting new foreign higher education institutions as potential partners, developing academic mobility, and expanding international educational and scientific opportunities for students and the faculty of the branch.
