We sincerely congratulate all our compatriots on Uzbek Language Day!

Our mother tongue is an eternal symbol of the great history, rich culture, and national identity of our people. Respecting and cherishing our native language, enriching it, and passing it on to future generations in its pure form is the sacred duty of each of us. May peace always prevail in our country, and may our native language live forever!

Every year on October 21, our country widely celebrates Uzbek Language Day and the anniversary of granting the Uzbek language the status of the state language. Language is a symbol of the state, its spiritual and cultural wealth, reflecting the traditions, way of life, and centuries-old history of the people.

It was on October 21, 1989, that the Law "On the State Language" was adopted, establishing the legal foundations of the state language, whereby the Uzbek language gained its rightful legal status and protection. Subsequently, on April 10, 2020, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed the Law "On Establishing Uzbek Language Day," officially declaring October 21 a national holiday.

In honor of this significant occasion, the management, staff, faculty, and students of the Tashkent Branch of D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia have prepared a special festive video.

The video greeting features warm wishes from the Branch leadership, as well as heartfelt poetic verses celebrating the greatness, beauty, and immortality of the native language, performed by university staff and students.

Happy holiday, dear colleagues, students, and compatriots! May the status and prestige of our state language continue to grow, and may the love for our native word remain forever in our hearts!
