On September 17, 2026, a preventive meeting with students dedicated to the prevention of drug addiction was held at the Tashkent branch of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, No. PF-207.

Narcologist Tojiboev Uktam Askarovich from the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Mental Health took part in the event.

During the meeting, students were informed about the negative impact of narcotic and psychoactive substances on health, the consequences of developing an addiction, and preventive measures. Special attention was paid to cultivating a responsible attitude towards one's health, safe behavior, the rejection of bad habits, and the rational use of free time.

At the end of the meeting, students received recommendations on preventing involvement in illicit drug trafficking and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
