🔬 The 5th International Festival NAUKA 0+ Has Started in Tashkent!

📅 On November 7–8, 2026, the Tashkent branch of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (MUCTR) is hosting events as part of the 5th International Festival "NAUKA 0+ — Your Cosmic Universe." Since 10:00 AM today, the branch has been filled with young researchers fascinated by the world of science and discovery!

👨‍🎓 More than 150 schoolchildren from educational institutions in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent took part in the opening of the festival events. Special attention is given to engaging students from schools implementing the "Mendeleev School" educational project, which aims to foster interest in chemistry, natural sciences, and engineering professions.

🧪 What Awaits the Festival Participants?

The organizers have prepared a rich scientific and educational program:

• 🔥 "Fire of the Planets" — amazing flame colors and an introduction to spectra;
• ❄️ "Hot Ice Stalagmite" — unusual chemical transformations;
• ☁️ "Cosmic Mega-Cloud" — spectacular experiments with dry ice and smoke bubbles;
• 🧬 "Catalysis Enzymes and Amylase" — an introduction to the fascinating world of biochemistry;
• 🔬 "Optical Journey" — examining samples under a microscope;
• 🌸 "Paint Flowers with Flowers" — creating paints from natural pigments;
• 🧩 "Laboratory of Wonders" and science games — brainteasers, chemistry memory games, and exciting challenges.

🤝 Behind the organization and hosting of the events is a dedicated team of faculty members, staff, and active students of the branch who prepared interactive zones, scientific demonstrations, and masterclasses for the young guests.

🎯 "Our main goal is to show schoolchildren that science is not limited to textbooks and formulas. It surrounds us everywhere, opens up opportunities for creativity, and becomes the foundation for the technologies of the future."
