On February 19, 2026, in the branch, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 16, 2026 No. 05/15-2026-16, a meeting was organized with a specialist of the Committee for Religious Affairs Zh. Meligoziev.

The event was held under the motto “We are against ignorance.” The meeting was attended by students, teachers and staff of the branch.

During the conversation, the specialist spoke in detail about the importance of developing critical thinking and increasing legal and religious literacy among young people. Students were given recommendations on the use of reliable and official Internet resources, and also explained which sites and sources of information are reliable and safe.

 And also real examples were given when citizens, having made the wrong choice and succumbed to the influence of destructive ideas, found themselves involved in various radical groups. Particular attention was paid to issues of information security and everyone’s responsibility for their own choices.
